Process is Precious

About

Who Is Giselle?

Growing up, my family and I would take the transit from New Jersey into New York City and that ride changed everything for me. I'd press my face to the window staring at advertisements, logos, billboards, even flyers stapled to poles for local bands. I didn't have the words for it then, but I was already thinking like a designer.

I'm a Latina, daughter of immigrant parents who gave up everything so my siblings and I could have more. That shaped how I move through the world: with intention, with gratitude, and with a deep belief that creativity is a form of showing up for people. I was translating documents for my mom at 4 years old, finding ways to communicate across languages and cultures before I even knew that was a skill. Design became the place where all of that energy found a home.

I followed that passion to Charlotte, where I pursued my education in design at Central Piedmont Community College. Since then, I've built a practice rooted in the idea that the process is just as important as the product. I collaborate closely with clients, not just to deliver something that looks good, but to make them feel proud and involved every step of the way.

I'm Karen Giselle Morales, and I design for people who want their work to mean something. If that sounds like you, I'd love to connect.
